FLC encourages its parishioners to participate in ministries to our surrounding neighborhoods and the wider Columbus community
Love Chapel – FLC partners with area churches to assist our neighbors who need a hand with a food pantry, hot meals, utility assistance, and housing.
Food Collection – A box in the office hallway receives food donations year-round. Donations are shared between Love Chapel’s food pantry and the Hope Food Pantry.
Gleaners – Each August, FLC hosts a food distribution truck from Gleaners, the largest food bank in central Indiana.
Feed My Starving Children – FLC partners with Asbury United Methodist Church in a food packing program each fall, creating meals for families in impoverished, war-torn, or disaster-stricken areas around the world.
Undies for Everyone – Working with Columbus’ Sans Souci, FLC collects underwear and socks each summer for area children. Click here for more information about San Souci.
Soles for Souls – Working with Sans Souci, FLC collects new shoes each fall for area children.
Piecemakers – The FLC sewing circle work year-round to produce quilts for distribution through Lutheran World Relief (LWR).
